Today I am thrilled to be sharing my review of Sleep by C.L.Taylor. Happy publication day Cally!
About the Book:
Seven strangers. Seven secrets. One deadly lie.
All Anna wants is to be able to sleep. But crushing insomnia, terrifying night terrors and memories of that terrible night are making it impossible. If only she didn’t feel so guilty…
To escape her past, Anna takes a job at a hotel on the remote Scottish island of Rum, but when seven guests join her, what started as a retreat from the world turns into a deadly nightmare.
Each of the guests have a secret, but one of them is lying – about who they are and why they’re on the island. There’s a murderer staying in the Bay View hotel. And they’ve set their sights on Anna.
This is the story of Anna who is involved in a serious car accident after a truck loses control when the driver falls asleep at the wheel. Three of Anna’s work colleagues were also in the car with her that night returning from a work bonding retreat which leaves two of them dead and one seriously injured.
Upon leaving the hospital Anna receives some unusual messages which leads her to believe that she is being stalked. Who is leaving her these messages, and is it to do with her two colleagues that were tragically killed in the accident?
When Anna breaks up with her boyfriend and to try and overcome her guilt as she was driving the night of the accident, she decide to take a job at a small hotel on the remote island of Rum in Scotland.
When a small group of walkers check into the hotel, strange things start occurring and when the owner of the hotel suddenly dies, Anna is left to keep things running. When a storm keeps them all bound to the hotel with no way of leaving, it is not long before Anna is suddenly feeling that she is being watched and that someone is out is make her pay for the night of the accident. That person could only be one of the guests. Who is out to destroy Anna and will they succeed?

Thank-you to NetGalley, AvonBooksUK and Cally Taylor for allowing me to read an advanced copy of Sleep in exchange for an honest review.
All opinions are my own and are not biased in anyway.
